KL Liquid Lift: As we start to see the signs of ageing, many facial changes can take place.
We not only lose vital substances from our skin tissues, such as collagen, elastin and hyaluronic acid (HA), all responsible and contributing to the youth, vitality and general health of our skin, but we actually lose bone mass, muscle tone and fat from our faces. This can cause the face to droop and for gravity to take hold, leading to jowls, sagging skin and facial hollows.
At KL Cosmetic Clinics in Doncaster, we offer a non-surgical approach to facelifting which does not require a general anaesthetic, an overnight hospital stay or several weeks downtime. In fact, there is no ‘clinical’ downtime at all with this procedure.
The KL Liquid Lift – non-surgical facelift
The treatment is called the KL Liquid Lift and uses dermal fillers to restore, revitalise and rejuvenate your face without over-filling or focusing on just one feature alone. The treatment is part of our signature treatments offering, and is popular with both our female and male clients.
The KL Liquid Lift restores volume that is lost during the ageing process, supporting and lifting the skin, whilst using a relatively small amount of dermal fillers, for the most natural-looking results. Before the treatment can take place, you’ll be asked to have a meeting with one of our practitioners, so we can assess your facial concerns, check your medical history and really get to the bottom of what bothers you about your facial ageing. Once both you and the practitioner are happy that you will benefit from the KL Liquid Lift, we can then invite you to the clinic to undergo the treatment.

Unlike traditional facial surgery for anti-ageing, the KL Liquid Lift takes only minutes to administer.
After a topical numbing cream has been applied to the specific areas to be treated, your practitioner will either use a needle or a cannula (a blunt-ended needle used more frequently in modern techniques, so as to minimise bruising) to inject very small quantities of the dermal filler under the skin tissues.
As a treatment using dermal fillers offers both a physical as well as physiological augmentation process, you will initially see an instant lifting and tightening effect. Then, over time, as the HA within the dermal filler gets to work, hydrating and replenishing the skin’s tissues and the production of new collagen is encouraged by the dermal trauma that these injections creates, you’ll notice the tone, texture and quality of your skin improve in the weeks that follow.
A true alternative to plastic surgery…
The super thing about the KL Liquid Lift is that you won’t need to rest at home for days, there is no cutting of the skin, no sutures and no extensive scars or bruising. You may notice some slight swelling after your treatment and the odd small bruise, but this is minimal and will fade in a day or so. With extensive surgical facial procedures, you’re looking at weeks of downtime, potential scarring and the real possibility that as time passes, the look you achieve might not be as natural as you might like.
With dermal fillers, the results are temporary and at first, this might sound a little inconvenient. However, there is beauty in this alone, because as you age, your face will change over time. Using dermal fillers to correct this ageing means that your practitioner can work with you as the years go on and offer the most complimentary results as your face goes through the natural ageing process. They can add a little more where needed as well as choose specific products to suit. With surgery, once it’s done, it’s done.
There is also a cost element to consider when thinking about permanent vs temporary facial rejuvenation. A surgical facelift can cost many thousands of pounds and as your face changes with age, the results may not last as well as if you have dermal fillers instead. You can spread the cost of your facial beautification with dermal fillers over many years, for the cost of a surgical procedure and receive a facial ‘refresh’ every 6 to 12 months, keeping your looks on point and beautifully ‘you’.
