At KL Cosmetic Clinic, we perform Temple Filler treatments using dermal fillers that are similar to those we use for other facial areas, such as the cheeks and chin. Dermal fillers contain hyaluronic acid, a naturally occurring substance found in the skin, which aids in the production of healthy, hydrated youthful-looking skin.
Our selected dermal fillers for Temple Filler treatments are of the highest quality and have a finer consistency than standard fillers, helping to ensure excellent results with minimal discomfort and bruising following the procedure.
Our process at KL Cosmetic Clinic for Temple Filler treatment is a quick and effective procedure which provides long-lasting results with very little cosmetic downtime.
Firstly, you will be invited for a consultation at our clinic to discuss your requirements and if Temple Filler is the right treatment for you. Once mutually agreed upon, your aesthetician will apply a topical cream to numb the treatment area and, once numb, proceed to use a needle or blunt micro-cannula injection technique to carry out the procedure.
This technique helps to minimise the chance of bruising within the treatment area and allows your aesthetician to expertly place injections to maximise results and minimise downtime.
Before the treatment, we start your appointment with a consultation to assess your areas of concern. We look at the symmetry of the face and natural contours. We pick out the areas where natural enhancement is needed.
Our nurse will then prepare the area and carry out the injections. We may use a numbing cream if necessary, but the needle is very fine and most people find it mostly painless. Treatment takes up to about 30 minutes.
Longevity of Dermal Fillers can vary from patient to patient depending on different factors such as natural metabolism, if you partake in regular strenuous exercise and sun exposure to name a few.
Manufacturer guidelines advise dermal filler procedures on average last between 6 and 12 months+.
