Utilising the follicle-targeting ability of the Diolaze XL, our Laser Hair Removal treatments are safe for various areas of the face, body, and intimate areas. Unlike traditional hair removal methods which can be not only ineffective but painful, Diolaze offers long-lasting results, with some patients experiencing an overall reduction in their hair growth when completing a full course of treatments.
Unlike other hair removal methods, laser hair removal targets the pigment (melanin) within the hair follicles. The laser is then absorbed by the pigment, converting the light to heat, and destroying the follicle. The result is a destroyed hair follicle which helps to minimise and delay future growth.
Thanks to Diolaze’s top-of-the-range hair removal technology, it features a powerful cooling system that leaves the targeted hair’s surrounding skin unharmed. It is very rare to experience any discomfort during your treatment and patients have likened the sensation to a rubber band snapping against the skin.
The duration of the session itself will depend on the size of the area being treated, with sessions ranging from 10-30 minutes.
Once your session is complete, we recommend following through with a full course of treatments (often between 2-6) to ensure you receive optimum results. The interval period between these sessions will depend on the area of treatment and your natural hair growth cycle.

As with all laser hair treatments, DiolazeXL requires a series of treatments in order to see optimal results. Different hair follicles will go through their lifecycles at different times, meaning one follicle might not be in the same stage as another in the same patch. Since laser hair treatments work best when your hair is in the mature stage, multiple sessions are needed to ensure that all hair gets targeted when they’re in their mature stage.
Patients who are pregnant, have a history of skin cancer, impaired immune system, endocrine disorder e.g. diabetes or have had recent sun exposure are not suitable for this treatment.
Prior to your procedure, you’ll be invited to a consultation to access your skin type and any potential medical conditions that might affect your treatment. A patch test may also be carried out.
Before coming to your appointment:
• DO avoid sun exposure on the area for at least 2 weeks prior.
• DO ensure there is no residue of natural or fake tan present on the skin.
• DO NOT wax or pluck the area for 4 weeks leading up to the appointment.
• DO NOT apply any make up or topical creams before the appointment.
• DO shave the treatment area at least 24 hours before the day of the appointment to prevent surface skin damage from burnt hairs.
We advise you wear loose-fitting clothing, or clothing that exposes the treated area immediately after your treatment. This prevents irritation of any sensitive areas and any soothing creams from transferring onto your clothes.

Soothing gel like Aloe Gel can be applied to cool the area post treatment.
